I can appreciate the time and effort this has taken.

MY BEST FRIEND

So I went to visit my gran a few weeks ago, Her name is Mary but people call her may. she is 80 this year and I LOVE her stories. Here are some pictures I took while she was telling me one of her stories about the her life and her child hood, she is truly my inspiration and my best friends.

I love theses pictures, I think she is beautiful. Her little rosie cheeks are my favourite.

I especially love the last picture - She staring out the window while in the middle of talking about her life as a young woman and even though I've heard every inch of her life story a million times, I can't help but listen. She fascinates me and when I look into her eyes, I can see she can remember it as though it was yesterday, as though she's playing it back in her mind there and then. I think its important to remember, as this year she was diagnosed with slight dementia, it's common in old age.

So its important to remember your past as it inevitably shapes your future.

Only in Scottish sea side towns (correct me if im wrong) I believe you get a fry up made out of stockarock and every year some trys to pawn this off as a gift... If I wanted a fry up I would buy a real one. You canny beat a bag of chips tho. oh, and a pickle... gotta have a pickle.

So ive graduated... and ive moved back in with my rents to sort my life out... yes that age old saying "of sort my life out" But really ive just been trying to fit my lifes accessories that i dare not live without back into my single bedroom... i have way too much stuff. Got to Love a David Bailey

There's something about old photography that I completely love. It's like everything - i just seemed more of a skill back then than it does now - Not to mention the very clever but beautiful simplicity of this image. I mean you actually had to learn how to capture things in a perfect second, because you only had film. There was not editing later, photo shop alterations, and digital screens. It seems now that anyone can now call them selves an amateur photographer with the right equipment. Good thing or a bad thing... who knows, But i do admire the old stuff - It's more pure.

So im loving all the black, biker boys grunge (had a bad day/life) look. I spied a hint of studs, cropped biker jacket, some nice Jesus sandals, and little bit of quilting, super cool shades, black Wellington boots, chunky knitts and good old fashion trench coat. And lots and lots and LOTS of leather. Yummy. Im a fan are you ???

Key colours and looks for next season suggests: Blacks, greys, cammel/tann, army/miltatary greens topped off with canvas.
